About Turtle Festival:

Velas is renowned for its Olive Ridley turtle population, attracting visitors from far and wide to witness this natural phenomenon. The villagers of Velas, in collaboration with NGOs like Sahyadri Nisarg Mitra, have initiated turtle conservation efforts, providing protection to the nesting sites. Witnessing baby turtles making their way to the sea is a truly unforgettable experience.

Pick-up Points:

Ch. Sambhajinagar: Karnapura Ground, Near Panchwati Hotel .

Itinerary:

 DAY 01: Boarding the Bus

06:00 PM: Night journey begins from Sambhajinagar.

DAY 02: Velas Turtule Festival

04.00 am - 5.30 am: Reach Velas early morning. 

06.30 am: Depart towards sighting point. 

07.00 am: We watch the turtle hatching activity conducted by the Nisarg Premi organization.

08.00 am: Play sometime on the beach, enjoy some group games. 

10.00 am: Enjoy your breakfast and later head towards Bankot fort. Explore the place. Later we depart for Harihareshwar. 

01.00 pm: Enjoy lunch at the Harihareshwar.  

04.00 pm: Explore the temple and start your return journey back to Pune 

10.00 pm: Reach Pune with loads of memories. 

04:00 am: Reached Ch. Sambhajinagar.

Tour Concludes with Happy Memories :)

Note: Turtle hatching is a natural phenomenon and the timings are selected on basis of maximum probability however there is no 100% guarantee if the hatching happens and no refund will be provided in case of no hatching.

Package Payment Policy:- 

• For Advance booking we need 50% Token amount and balance Payment can be before 10 days of tour starting date .

Cancellation Policy: 

• 75% amount will be refunded if cancel 30 days before the tour starting date. 
• 50% amount will be refunded if cancel 15 days before the tour starting date. 
• 25% amount will be refunded if cancel 7 days before the tour starting date. 
• No amount will be refunded if cancelled within 7 days of the tour starting Date

• All our bookings are on the basis of First come First policy. 
• Bookings are non-transferable. In case of cancellation of bookings from the consumers end, no booking amount shall be refunded in any case.
• Trek diaries reserve the rights to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of unavoidable events(i.e Weathercondition,political condition or any others).  
• An original individual identification proof(Aadharcard,DrivingLicense,VoterID, Passport must be carried by the traveller during the journey.  
• Trek diaries will not be responsible for any manmade or natural calamity. Extra expense because of any of the natural calamity will be done by consumer not trek diaries. 
• All the sports are safe and approved by the state ministry, activities performed will be under the guidance of highly trained professionals.However,in case of any injury or accident during the adventure sport and travel trek diaries will not beliable.  
• Incase of any updates in the booking, the consumer has to give a prior notice to trek diaries.  
• In case of inappropriate weather or any change in local government norms, activities mentioned above can be scheduled or cancelled without any prior notice.  
• Any mischief or inappropriate attitude will not be tolerated and Trek diaries reserves. 
• All rights to cancel such bookings without any refund at any time in between the trip. Trek diaries can cancel the trip or individual booking without any prior notice.
